Appellation d'Origine Nemea de Qualite Superieure
Harvest & Winemaking
High, mountainous vineyards in the Nemea region of Corinthia, in the north east of the Peloponnese (the southern mainland of Greece.)
The wine is characterized by its fruitiness, its unique body, soft tannins, and deep red color. The wine is aged in French oak barriques for 6-7 months and then bottle-aged for a further 6 months. The nice balance of its fruitiness and maturation properties is particularly appealing.
Excellent with red meat and fatty cheeses, but will also accompany a broad selection of main courses due to its character. Serve at room temperature.
